| Our Review: Waiting out the Storm is a soft and loving tale of little buttercup, who has a lot of questions, and her mother, as they retreat from and wait for the storm to end. Her mother poetically addresses buttercup’s many questions and calms her fear of the thunder and lightening. This book ties beautiful, graceful illustrations (done in acrylic) with a heartwarming story and short poetry to create a lasting keepsake. I would recommend this for children from age 2 to about 8 years of age. I would also imagine any school library would want to carry this title, as it answers questions children might have about weather.
