Up Up Up with music cd from barefoot books

Up, Up, Up by Susan Reed and Rachel Oldfield is a magical mixture of original lyrics and artwork. The illustrations are done in acrylics and are very detailed. On each page, you can see the love and dedication that went into illustrating this book. The lyrics and musical arrangement are fun to sing and dance to, and are very catchy. Children will love dancing and singing along with the included musical cd.

Having both colorful, inviting illustrations and fun music, this book does a wonderful job of encouraging children to follow along, and begin learning to read. There is also a page in the back of the book with the sheet music for the song, which also adds to the educational value of the book.

I highly recommend this book for children from about 6 months, to 7 years old. Older children will be able to follow along in the book with the music. Younger children will want to play the CD over and over again.

Thank you, Barefoot Books, for sending this book, and The Animal Boogie. My son absolutely loves singing and dancing with the song. We've even made up our own dance moves for both songs. Loads of fun!
