The Animal Boogie 2008 Barefoot Books Review

The book comes with an audio CD of the song, which is great for getting the rhythm down and for combating boredom. For instant party atmosphere, bring out The Animal Boogie during the many hours spent inside during the winter, on rainy days, or any time when you want to shake things up in the playroom.

Debbie Harter's fun, friendly, and colorful illustrations compliment the lyrics perfectly, making this book a pure delight. There really isn't anything not to like about the book. It's definitely worth every bit of the list price and more.

This book would also be a fantastic book to use for 'circle time' in preschool or daycare, because it demands gleeful participation from everyone in the room and gets the kids moving.
